Rachel Cornman Named Government Relations Manager for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (HRC/CREDC)
HARRISBURG ( SEPTEMBER 28, 2007 ) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC is pleased to announce the hiring of Rachel Cornman as Government Relations Manager. In her position , she will manage the activities of Government Relations through the design, coordination, and operations of programs and events to aid the Chamber & CREDC's business members and the community at large. Cornman is responsible to present the Chamber's policies and viewpoints to local, state, national governmental units and agencies on a continual basis. Her duties also include managing the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Political Action Committee (HRC-PAC).
Prior to joining the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC team, Cornman took part in The Speaker of the House, John M. Perzel Internship Program. She also interned for the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Cornman received both her Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Master's degree in Public Administration from James Madison University.
